72nd World Luge Congress 2024 to be held in Lake Placid

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. –The International Luge Federation (FIL), The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority and USA Luge announced that the 72^nd World Luge Congress will take place in Lake Placid, June 14-15, 2024. Lake Placid was selected for the event during the FIL Presidium on November 17, in Berchtesgaden, Germany. 

The historic 1932 and 1980 Lake Placid Olympic Center, located at 2864 Main Street, will host the event, which will also include a joint meeting with the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) on June 16.
